September 18th 2018 was the orginale worldwide release date of our most recent single : 'Torino'. For us, releasing ' Torino' was an exciting adventure as we never before freleased such a neo-classical piece of music. We were taken by surprise when we experienced the overwhelming positive reactions to our music.
Now, a year later we made a new version, a remix of ' Torino' that we will release soon, together with the original radio edit version and a previously unreleased demo version of wich we asked Italian pianist Leonardo Cincinelli to play together woth soprano Caroline Clarke.
This triptych will be made availabe on all major and not so major streaming and dowloading platorms worldwide as well on our own bandcamp page.
We hope you will like this new version, as it is again, a step into a new world of music for us at BTD.
Earlier this August BTD's writer & producer Jan Vranken met with world-renowend colleague and inspirator Alan Parsons while he was in Europe for the second leg of his ' the Secret' world tour with his band the Alan Parsons Live Project.
Needless to say both musicians had plenty to talk about, being it the agriculture of avocados or specific DAW's both men use while recording music.
Alan Parsons was impressed by how a small project like Bridiging the Divide, with limited means and virtually working together through not much more then well equipped home-studios are able to reach the results we have.
Contact was made, coffee drunk ( Jan a macchiato, Alan plain black). Who knows what the future will bring.
Thanks Alan Parsons for your time and friendly words
