We just finished recording the last guitars for our upcoming release : ' Lady of Ndangane' . Morris Adriaens is a perfect guitarplayer and a very creative mind. Just the right mindset to work on BTD. Morris added just the extra set of jalapeno peppers we needed to up the track to the max.
For those who never heard of Morris. He is one of Hollands's best kept secrets, not only a top notch session guitarist , that can handle any music, as long as he can punt his six stringed axe to it. The man is very lovable, creative, and a funny cat as well.
I f you are into AOR music you might know Morris of hs fabulous work with German based Christian Tolle Project and Toto heritage project ' Fanfields'
Earlier this August BTD's writer & producer Jan Vranken met with world-renowend colleague and inspirator Alan Parsons while he was in Europe for the second leg of his ' the Secret' world tour with his band the Alan Parsons Live Project.
Needless to say both musicians had plenty to talk about, being it the agriculture of avocados or specific DAW's both men use while recording music.
Alan Parsons was impressed by how a small project like Bridiging the Divide, with limited means and virtually working together through not much more then well equipped home-studios are able to reach the results we have.
Contact was made, coffee drunk ( Jan a macchiato, Alan plain black). Who knows what the future will bring.
Thanks Alan Parsons for your time and friendly words
we are letting you people wait too long. We know and we feel sorry. Our new track ' Lady of Ndangane ' Is now for almost two years in the making!. Sorry we're busy :). But hey MIke Manders is working on the final mix now so we are getting somewhere. It's gonna be a little gem of a fusion pop/rock/world track, completely different again
from anything we've done before.

Mike Manders is one of Hollands' best sound engineers, not only wellknown for his FOH work but also reknowned for his studio sound. Mike is perhaps best known for his work on albums by dutch legendary band Rowwen Heze.
